Liberty Hanson Wild is a mixed media artist based in Asheville, North Carolina.

Her work explores cycles in nature and the ways they mirror the human experience. Using her own photography alongside cyanotype, encaustic wax, vintage papers, and silver leaf, she creates layered pieces that balance structure and intuition.

Each piece is developed slowly through layering, obscuring and revealing. Surfaces are built and reworked over time, allowing traces of what came before to remain visible, like memory held within the material.

Drawing from the natural world as both subject and teacher, her practice invites a deeper awareness of change, resilience, and connection.
